Eleri is 1 month old!!

Yes, I'm still planning on doing a "birth" post for our dear third child, but figured today would be fitting for her 1 month post/update...since we celebrated her one-month-day yesterday.

Here's are 2 pictures of her on her actual day-of-birth...

The first one is her first manicure, she came with quite the set of nails!  

(You can also see how bruised her face/head was!)

This next picture was after her bath, laying under the warmer.  

We thought she looked like she was sun bathing!

Some facts about Eleri from the last month:

• She was losing weight that first week, so we had to go get her weighed daily--ugh! But, then she gained 9 oz in 3 days and then gained a full pound in the week after that.  So, she convinced the pediatrician that she's eating just fine...
• She's a pretty content baby, only crying if she needs a clean diaper, is hungry, or tired.
• She's nursing like a champ, although not on much of a "schedule".  Sometimes she'll go 5 hours and sometimes 1.5. It's working, so, whatever!
• She's a pretty good sleeper.  During the day, she's doing the newborn doze off and on thing.  She'll usually sleep for a long stretch in the morning (6:30-9:30, which is unfortunate for me since Ansley has been waking up at 6:30/7) and one in the afternoon (for 3-4 hours).  At night, she's usually sleeping for stretches of 3-4 hours at a time.
• She's already rolled front to back twice!
• Her cord finally "fell" off (with some help from Daddy).  We thought, at 3.5 weeks old, it was time!
• Caedmon and Ansley are absolutely in love with her (and she's started really noticing/watching them, too). 
• She's officially outgrown her 0-3 footies and some of her 0-3 onesies.
• Maybe (just maybe) we affectionately call her "Chunk-erella"!

We're adjusting well to being a family of FIVE!  We are loving Eleri big time and it's hard to imagine life without her. She's as sweet as can be; reminding us of her brother and sister at this age.  Her disposition reminds us a lot of Ansley while her looks remind us of Caedmon.  Of course, all 3 of them have the big brown eyes!
