Happy 2nd Birthday, dear Ansley!!

Girly-boo, I can't believe you are 2 today! 

You are such a sweet girl: You are so thoughtful of your baby sister, always making sure she's got her blankets and paci.  You love to give hugs and kisses and curl up to read a book.  You love your brother and can't bear to be away from him even when he's bothering you.  

You are also becoming quite the big girl: You have an opinion and you usually make it known.  You enjoyed getting your toenails painted this morning.  You put your socks on by yourself and are learning to dress yourself.  You are interested in sitting on the potty, love to look at your potty-book, and bring us a diaper and wipes when you're ready to be changed (I think potty training is in your near future). For the most part, you're keeping clips and bows in your hair.  You are hit-and-miss re: food, but you eat slowly and "daintily" (ie have been known to take 3-4 bites out of a jellybean).  You love to be outside but you don't-so-much love to get wet or dirty.  You love to draw and color, you love to "read" your Bible", cook in your kitchen and help mommy with any/everything.  You particularly like to sit on the bench while I'm sewing or doing other projects.

Here's the table all set up.    Nana and Pappy and Aunt Kristin came to eat lunch with us; we had grilled chicken, corn on the cob, broccoli salad, and fruit salsa with chips.  You ate SO well, maybe we should have that meal more often.

 And here are your butterfly cupcakes and cake pops.  Yummy!

You love all the toys and clothes that you got and were especially excited about your car.

  Mommy really wanted to get a picture of you and your brother and sister in your coordinating clothes, but it had been a long, hot day and you were "done".  This is the response I got when I asked to take ya'lls picture:
