Well, Caedmon turned 8 months old yesterday! It's so hard to believe it! I also realized I never did a 7-month post. Kudos to those of you who can keep up with your children and your blogs!
Caedmon has been especially fun lately. Like I've said before, I'd consider him "mobile", but not "crawling across the house" mobile. He is in the phase where he'd much rather scoot around and play in his crib than sleep. At night, he'll usually do it for 45 minutes or so then he'll fall asleep. During naps, however, it's a different story. Thankfully, he's absolutely content to be in there playing by himself (because no matter how long he's been in there, I don't want to go get him until he's slept). So, today, he played for a good hour and a half before he fell asleep. He just sits in there and laughs, claps, and plays (with what? I don't know, bc there are no toys in there). The only fussing he does is for less than 10 minutes, and that's immediately before he zonks out (so at least I know when he goes to sleep).
He still loves the dog. He loves to laugh at her. He loves to take her toys or yank on her leash.
He's still nursing well and is also increasing his other culinary experiences. He loves homemade applesauce and organic yogurt and is still trying to get used to green beans and peas. I think his reining favorite, though, is still sweet potatoes.
He's so much fun and we're really enjoying our time with him! Enjoy the cute pictures in the slideshow to the right!!
