So here at the Jordan house we have settled into life in our new home. If we haven't already mentioned it, we love it here. Life has slowed down and we have gotten into a new routine. But the unfortunate part (there is always a BUT) is we are surround by farmland. Unfortunate from the stand point of wide open fields, large farming implements, friendly guys named Billy and Fred, seeing that Carhart is an accepted church outfit...not in the slightest. Our issues come from fresh cut fields and cold winter breezes. See when you combine the two you are in for some visitors, simply because you have taken someone's home and then blow them with frigid air from the North.
The equation equals:

Yes this is a picture I took of our new friend under the fridge. Not a problem you say, will this is the fourth one I have seen in the last 30 or so hours. Don't worry the other three went to live on a farm. It is too bad you can't visit that farm but those are the rules.
The up side is that we have a new way to occupy Gracie's time and keep her off the counters. We could not pull her away from the dishwasher last night and this morning she headed right back to see if her friends were still there. However, they had already departed and she was unable to say good-bye.

So if you want some mice or if you need new and inventive ways to rid your home of these vermin just let me know. I will give you the hook up. In the meantime, we will continue to keep the mouse outta our house.
(Sorry for the rhyme, we are watching Dr. Suess)
****UPDATE****
After posting this, we placed a new enclosed trap near the fridge with some name brand peanut butter (they are not fooled by the Food Loin brand) and lets just say:
Dan: 4, Mouse: 0
