So, I love reading "Overheard at my House" posts. Caedmon has always been a babbler; now, at 23 months, he's finally starting to *accurately* repeat words we ask him to and is starting to use recognizable words spontaneously. So, I'm very excited to get to join the world of the talking toddlers.
Here's our first "Overheard"; it's simple, but it cracked me up this morning:
Background: Caedmon has a rather large stuffed monkey, "Ah Ah" (as in, "Oo Oo Ah Ah") that he loves. Sometimes "Ah Ah" sits with us at the breakfast table. This morning, as Caedmon was getting Ah Ah from the chair, the chair tipped over. And I overheard him say, in the sweetest little voice:
"Eeps, eeps....eeps, eeps" (meaning, "Oops", for those of you who don't speak toddler).
